Sagano Japanese Restaurant @ Renaissance Hotel

Dinner at Sagano Renaissance Hotel..

One of the day after i got my salary..

So brought mom here..It was between all other restaurants in Renaissance..Tried Marche, Vogue, Dynasty and others..But we havent tried this restaurant..Didnt wanna have buffet so we went to this Japanese restaurant..Almost all other restaurants were serving buffet..

Was so empty..we were the first..later until we left, there were only 2 other tables occupied..


Dont go if u dont have ur credit card with u, or lots of cash..

Salmon skin salad..salmon skin overload..

Mom's favourite unagi..a very generous portion..

Sashima..5 different kinds..

Garlic fried rice..too oily..but smells really good at the same time..too jelak for only 2 person..

The fella did not order the other one for us..coz he figure we couldnt finish all..and yes he was right..didnt even finish the rice..and the unagi..

Total bill up to almost rm300..wtfarkkk..i know..but it was not bad..

Im on holiday already..gonna have fun from tomorrow onwards..cant wait..chinese new year..the angpaos, gambling session, gathering, reunion, laughter, all that..i really love these days of the year..after 10 days im back to uni again..

Exam ended today, not bad..at least i tried studying for this semester, coz i know i really have to work hard..my cgpa is falling real quick now..im in sem6 now..only this semester and next semester left..and that's the end of school life for me..not going back to books anymore..

The day after i came back from Bangkok

Wanted to try out Yogitree for so long but didnt have the chance to do so,and finally we had our lunch there the day after i came back from Bangkok, which is on the 3rd of January..I like the place, coz its quiet and comfortable..

Sipping on my drink while waiting for the food..I remembered i was freaking hungry that day..as usual..

Garlic bread..I love garlic bread but i dont eat garlic..Dont question me..coz im weird like this..

Bee's beef burger..nicee..

And this molten something..freaking sinful..

I dont know when i'll start reducing weight..Damn fatty bom now..Cant stop eating..and the stuff that i eat are all either fat, oily, unhealthy or whatever..Not greedy..I'll start next year, that is year 2012..thankyouverymuch..I'll eat lesser.. =)

Just another outing

Went out on Thursday if im not mistaken..

As usual, movie, eat, walk and home..

Wanted to try Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh but it was empty i didnt like to eat alone(like just the one and only table) so we went next door, Reminisce Cafe..

The setting is nice..but the food so so only..Nothing wow about it..

Taiwan Sausage..Nice..

It tastes better with mustard on, and i found out on this day..

Black paper pork rice which doesnt taste like black pepper..

Cheesy chicken chop..Couldnt even taste the cheese..

Got these for one emo fella..all from Bangkok..5tshirts, 2 shirts and a slipper for less than rm150..cheap or not?how to find in KL?So if ur going Bangkok soon, congratulations..I want to go again too..

As for my stuff, i dont think i wanna post here, coz its gonna take forever..Let me just mention it..2 bikinis(the better quality ones), one slipper, 2 sandals, a key chain, 3 bags, about 15tops, 3bottoms, chocolate, biscuits, 3 bracelets, 2 necklace..so far i can only think of these..

Didnt buy any belts or watches because apparently, its quite expensive there i dont know why..Singapore has more choices and cheaper..

My bangkok trip.. 29th December - 2nd January

Its gonna be all in one from me..Too lazy to blog "day 1..bla bla bla"..

Im just gonna randomly blog about everything..

And it wont be draggy dont worry..

So read on..

First day there..Checked into the hotel and off we went, for dinner..

Was too hungry, so i randomly suggested this road side place..

Its like wan tan mee, except u put chili flakes, fish oil, peanut etc..

Not bad though, provided you add more fish oil..

And u can actually find this dish anywhere..Its quite common in Bangkok..

We stayed in TaiPan hotel, which was at Asok station..

Actually its quite convenient and easy to get to..

So u can consider staying there..and the room is clean..Our rate during that time was SGD300+ for 4 nights..so u do the math..and u get free wifi..and its very fast..u can FB like crazy and tweet like crazy..



Since our first day there was already wasted coz of the delay of flight, we just walked and roam around Asok..there are also quite a long row of side shops selling clothes, ahem Viagra(and similar stuff-selling very openly oh my farrrkingoodd..vibrator whatever shit u name it they have it..), sponggebob overload there..i guess its the kids favourite cartoon character..



Night life, Asok is also quite famous for it..Its in one of the lane, quite colorful, so its easy to get to..But i personally think its not that happening.. 1.all old people 2.it actually look quite scarry 3.it looks wrong..



(Maybe u wanna consider going to KaoShan-more youngsters there coz its all the backpackers place..and there, u can get cheap stuff too..Shisha and drink and have fun..That is one of the place to be)



Next Day 2..

Woke up so damn early..

Every morning there, i have to be awake around 8-9am(malaysian time)..no time wasted..its just shopping all the way..



Er, owh forgot to mention, the pictures are not according to date and time..

I only brought along 3 top and 2 pants..Which explains..

Dont ask me why the fuck i keep wearing the same thing..i didnt check in any bags to BKK..Dont wanna put more weight when im going back KL later on..Smart or not?

So we camwhore alittle..kakak kesayangan..

First stop, Platinum Mall..This is the newer side..(There's the newer side and another one looks quite old and dirty-but the older one has better price note this)

In BKK, u'll have to ask one piece price and wholesale price..usually wholesale is 2-3 pieces..So its easy if u have a few friends or family buying the same thing..And usually eg. usually price is 350baht, wholesale is 250baht..If ur good, u can stil bargain for a cheaper price..But make sure u are really buying it and ur interested, or not ur gonna die there..the person will be showing u black face and cursing u..

I've witnessed it in BKK myself..

A guy trying on slippers again and again..then decided not to buy..

The seller come out of the shop, shouted at the guy and showed him the middle finger..

and pls dont eat here k..coz damn sucky..and expensive..

I guess this place is to tiok tourist one..coz no locals eat there..all angmoh..

FYI, tuk tuk is more expensive compared to their taxi..

Basically tuktuk is just for u to experience..nothing special..and it makes ur hair messy..

I prefer their taxi..comfortable, cooling, hair not messy and cheap..

Obviously the pics are not according..haha..suddenly got tomyam hor..

But quite nice..Not spicy at all..the taste is yummy..

Fuji sushi..recommended by my uncle..

But its just so so..

A tad expensive compared to Sushi King, or Zanmai..

After dinner we went bck to the hotel shower and went out for massage..

Went to chatuchak(jatujak)..which is their weeekend market..only fully open during Saturdays and Sundays..

A place worth going..Coz everything there is cheaper..although its just cheaper by a little, but still if u have the bargain skill, this is the place to be..

Half time rest..No food at all..

Rest and had siew yuk and some fish paste thing..

So many puppies, rabbits...Kittens not so,yay!

Alot of pomeranian..my favourite..fugmylife..

i told my sis i wanna bring one home..and i'll take bus back myself..then she gave me the =.= face..

Like prawn shell and rota flavour, except its more salty..

Went to siam nirawit to watch a show..

And it was so freaking beautiful..

everybody should go watch it really..

basically i was flying in my own world..

Basically you just have to use the green line, the lighter green..

Everything is there..

Platinum Mall is Chit Lom stop..but u will have to walk a little..I think u can reach Platinum Mall at the Siam stop too..What u have to know is there is the newer Platinum Mall and the older one..not sure if its connection but the older one is the upper part and the newer one must walk for a short distance..Whenever u see something nice or ur interested, pls make sure that after u bargain, u will buy that thing..or not gg.com..the person will definately curse u..And they will ask u whether is one piece or wholesale price..usually wholesale is 2-3pieces only..so its very easy to get wholesale price..if u get 5 pieces and above, maybe u can get it cheaper provided u know how to bargain..

Chatuchak(jatujak) weekend market is at Mo Chit station..its easy to get there but when u leave or go bck, u probably need a taxi or tuktuk coz the market is so freaking big and messy..And by the time u get out of the market, u'll be so exhausted u dont mind paying more for taxi and pass the mrt..

From the airport..u can take the mrt or bus depending on where you are heading to..

If mrt, take the sky train from Suvarnabhumi to Phaya Thai..and from Phaya Thai, ur on the right track that is the Sukhumvit line..That's the "hot" line..

Update,

As for KaoShan, its only available at night..and there's no direct mrt there..so u probably wanna take the taxi or tuk tuk..Similar stuff, maybe slightly cheaper than Platinum..

They sell almost everything there, and its quite happening there..

Its where all the backpackers stay..SO u'll be seeing alot of angmohs there..
